Dear colleagues,
We are most delighted and honoured to organize the 38th meeting of the International Society of Oncology and BioMarkers (ISOBM) from 3rd to 8th September 2010 in München , Germany.
München is the capital of Bavaria and – as is frequently said – the secret capital of Germany. München is a charming city with many faces, with a long-lasting tradition, historical buildings, a broad variety of cultural events and facilities and famous museums. Besides these fascinating facets, München is modern and “avantgarde” with highly developed technologies and industry.
The Ludwig-Maximilians-University of München , where our congress will take place, is one of the Universities of Excellence in Germany. ISOBM 2010 will take place at our huge University Hospital Campus Großhadern , which offers a high standard of congress facilities and can be reached by subway within 15 minutes from the center of München .
Our motto for ISOBM 2010 is:
“Biomarkers in Oncology – Leading the Path to Personalized Medicine”
With your help and active contributions we hope to be able to cover a broad spectrum of diagnostic oncology with a clear focus on patient care. In addition to invited speakers, we will offer Poster Sessions and Sessions for free oral communications. We will also include several awards and support for young scientists. We would like to welcome ISOBM members and all scientists interested in the field of cancer research to attend ISOBM 2010 not only for contributing to a successful meeting but in order to make a step forward together in the difficult field of cancer disease research and management.
